I’m surprised that this is my first time doing a DIY Kimono Dress/Jacket, because I have like 3 of these things hanging in my closet. The tutorial for this is basically the same as making a regular kimono. I just tweaked the dimensions a little bit to make it a tad wider than normal, so that I can have a more gathered effect when I tie it into a wrap dress.
So, this tutorial is beginner friendly and is quick and easy to sew. You’re basically going to be joining rectangles together.
MATERIALS
